BB King

December 31, 2009

So I decided to try and solo this achievement on my druid today. Apart from dying many many times and ending up with a 205 gold repair bill, it was actually kind of fun ;p

Storming the Citadel

December 22, 2009

After downing Lord Marrowgar and Lady Deathwhisper last week, we went back to Icecrown Citadel today to take on the last two bosses of the Lower Spire. Gunship Battle went down pretty quick, but Deathbringer Saurfang took a few tries due to a less than optimal group setup. In the end we did succeed, and even got a bonus achievement :) Unfortunately he didn’t drop my ring, better luck next time ;p

I predict…

December 18, 2009

There’s been a lot of speculation about the Cataclysm release date lately, so I’ve decided to make my own completely uneducated guess as well. I predict it will be August 26th, 2010. I don’t think it’ll be released during the summer, and anything before that feels like too soon. I hope I’m wrong though :p

Pugs are fun!

December 10, 2009

Yes that’s right. The new LFG-system really has made pugging a lot more enjoyable, and it’s no longer something I avoid like the plague.

I had nearly given up on ever getting the White Polar Bear mount, but today I finally had some luck :) 3.3 is off to a good start!

Higher Learning

December 8, 2009

Finally got the Higher Learning achievement on my hunter today :) It’s probably one of my favorite achievements in the game, and well wort investing some time in. Not only do you get the awesome Kirin Tor Familiar pet, you also get access to Archmage Vargoth’s Retreat which is a hidden room above the Violet Citadel. It’s usually pretty quiet up there, and a nice place to hang out if you don’t want to deal with the lag in Dalaran :)

Lord Marrowgar

December 6, 2009

In preparation for 3.3 (hopefully) being implemented next week, I’ve been reading up on Lord Marrowgar, which is the first boss in Icecrown Citadel. Tankspot has a nice video from the PTR, as well as a good strategy guide. Obviously things might change when it goes live, but it’s still a nice little preview :)
